Drupal offers great possibilities to create a multi-site environment. The project 'DRK – Digitale Regio Kortrijk' from Leiedal uses Drupal as a platform to run 12 municipality websites and many other local government websites. In total, 45 websites share the same Drupal platform. The city of Kortrijk has the largest website, www.kortrijk.be, with over 500.000 unique visitors and almost 4 million pageviews per year.
