Open source in Hospital St Antonius
The hospital of St Antonius (NL) has about 5000 employees and 250 medical experts. The deskopcomputers are migrated to Ubuntu and the office suite LibreOffice is used.
This session is about the motivation and experiences of this very large migration project. Cost savings were very important but not the main reasons to choose for open source solutions. If you are a public administration in the medical/care field (hospital, elder home, ...) then this best practice will be of great inspiration for you !!
